About this event
NC Produce Safety Professionals Conference
This one day conference will expand your knowledge on the importance of traceability programs at produce farms. We will hear from industry representatives and growers about lessons learned when traceability programs are put to the test during recall or outbreak investigations. What are the basic principles you should follow if your farm is implicated in an outbreak investigation? How do you communicate with regulators and others? How does farm insurance work under these circumstances?
We are also expecting the FDA to publish “Requirements for Additional Traceability Records for Certain Foods” in the near future. One of our speakers will provide you insight into this proposed regulation that will impact several produce commodities in NC.
We have a great line up of speakers that have been in the trenches and will provide practical advice for produce farms.
