Event Details

The North Carolina Junior Chamber Year-End Convention is an annual 2-day convention providing competitions, training, awards, networking opportunities and fun(!) organized by and for Jaycees from across the state of North Carolina.

Full registration includes trainings, meetings, Saturday luncheon, and Saturday evening awards banquet. Saturday lunch & dinner are both included in the price of full registration.

  • $80 FULL Registration until January 18, 2019
  • $95 Late FULL Registration until January 28, 2019
  • $45 Trainings and Lunch Only (includes Saturday Trainings and Lunch) until January 28, 2019 and is open to current and prospective members 40 and under. 
  • $55 Saturday Night Only (includes Awards Ceremony & Dinner) until January 28, 2019

Friday 2/01

  • 6-7:30pm Registration (Pre-Convention Area)
  • 7:30 - 9:30pm Competitions
  • 10 - 10:30pm First Timers
  • 7pm Until - Cardinal Corps Party and Meetings

Saturday 2/02

  • 8:30 - 9am - Registration and Certifucation of Delegates (Pre-Convention Area)
  • 9 - 9:30am - General Membership Meeting
  • 9:30 - 11am - Board of Directors Meeting
  • 11:30am - 1pm - Lunch
  • 1:30 - 4:50pm - Trainings and Leadership Development
  • 5 - 6pm - Final Dinner Set
  • 6 - 6:30pm - Presidential Toast
  • 6:30 - 10pm - Dinner/Awards/Installation of 2019 Officers
  • 11pm - 12:30am - Dance
  • 2pm Until - NC JCI Senate Meetings

Sunday 2/03

  • 8:30 - 12:30pm - NCJC Foundation, NCJC Memorial Foundation, and Executive Committee Meetings
  • 12:30pm - Departure

Please be warned that the NCJC Bylaws state that there is to be NO visible alcohol outside events with hotel bartenders. If you plan to room hop during the evening activities, please be sure to transport your adult beverages in cups.

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Greensboro Airport is an all-suite property that offeres a complimentary breakfast daily and manager's cocktail reception nightly. Room rate is $122.00/night with 12.75% tax. Convention participants are responsible for making their own reservations. NC Jaycees, Inc. is not responsible for reserving or paying for any rooms except those as defined in the current Policy Manual. Room reservations should be made under the room block using one of the following through the hotel's website at www.embassysuitesgreensboro.com, by calling the hotel directly at 336-668-4535 or through our group's individual reservation portal (https://embassysuites.hilton.com/en/es/groups/personalized/G/GSOGBES-YEC-20190201/index.jhtml?WT.mc_id=POG). North Carolina Junior Chamber (Jaycees)

The North Carolina Jaycees give young adults between the ages of 18 and 40 the tools they need to build the bridges of success for themselves and their communities in the areas of business development, individual development, community involvement and international connections.  We foster the development of leaders through training, real world experience, community involvement, and the creation of a collaborative network among young adults.

The Jaycees provide our members with the opportunities to learn new skills and become the leaders of tomorrow by creating lasting impact and fulfilling the needs of our communities today.  Partnerships with our state and local governments, North Carolina based businesses and other community organizations are important to us and necessary to move North Carolina forward.
