In this intensive workshop, created for working songwriters, Hendryx will examine the building blocks of songs and show how to make songs work across a variety of genres.
Of this session, Nona says, “Let’s be creative, have some fun. Bring a title, lyrics, melodies, beats, a verse, or hook and learn how to connect them. Most of all, bring your heart and soul.”

About Nona Hendryx
Nona Hendryx’s legendary career spans six decades of sound & style evolution. Longtime Nona Hendryx fans know her as one of the founding members and primary songwriter of Labelle, with Patti LaBelle and Sarah Dash. She has written, collaborated and recorded with a who’s who of the music industry including Carlos Santana, Ultra Nate, David Johansen, Yoko One, The Talking Heads, Dusty Springfield, Peter Gabriel, Prince, and The Rolling Stones’ Keith Richards, with whom she was nominated for a Grammy for the song “Rock This House”.
