Recent Victim Law Cases

Get up-to-date on victims’ rights! Over the past year courts across the nation have issued decisions that significantly impact representation of crime victims. Join NCVLI and trainers Amy Liu and Desiree Staeffler for an online training as they discuss select 2017 and 2018 cases of interest to victims’ rights practitioners.

Presenters: Amy C. Liu, J.D., Senior Appellate Attorney, NCVLI; and Desiree Staeffler, J.D., National Crime Victim Law Fellow, NCVLI. Ms. Liu's bio and Ms. Staeffler's bio are available here.

MCLE Accreditation: An application has been submitted to Oregon State Bar for 1.0 general MCLE credit. This program will be approved for 1.0 general MCLE credit with the State Bar of California; NCVLI is an approved CA multiple activity provider. The training may be eligible for MCLE credit in other states; a certificate of attendance will be available after the program.
