Event Details

Trauma is rampant and pervasive in our society.  Whether you're a coach, therapist, Tantra teacher, hands-on healer, workshop facilitator, massage therapist or even someone just wanting a great relationship, the chances are high that you'll encounter trauma.  Most of us don't have the skills to identify trauma or know what to do when it shows up.

Christine Donohue has 20+ years of experience dealing with trauma.  Her workshop provides an introduction to trauma and offers tools to work with people who have a trauma history, and resources for further inquiry.

This workshop covers:

  • Definition and sources of trauma

  • Physiology of the autonomic nervous system (ANS)

  • How to track people in order to assess if trauma is present

  • Specific resources and pitfalls to avoid when working trauma survivors

We will explore the wisdom of the nervous system as you learn more about trauma and how to support people through it.  The evening will be experiential and allow plenty of time for questions.
