Special Education and Section 504

  

Lorie Gerkey from Walsh Gallegos Law Firm will present to

ALL Administrators, SPED Directors, TOSAs and aspiring leaders, a valuable

workshop with information that school leaders need to know.

 

 

The workshop will cover the following topics:

 

  • Discipline for Students with Disabilities;
  • IDEA basics;
  • The role of administrator in Sped;
  • IEP implementation-EVERYONE plays a part;
  • The role of the General Education teacher;
  • Section 504;
  • When parents disagree and
  • Preventing litigation. 

 

 

When: Monday February 3, 2020

 

Time: 8:30 am to 3:30pm

 

Where: SWREC Training Facility

 

 

NON DISTRICT MEMBERS: 

Fee is $150 per day, PO must be in place & emailed to SWREC BEFORE attending the training
