Navigating the Minefield of Trademark Protection in China
Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM (CDT)
Daniel Chow will talk about common mistakes that multinational companies (MNCs) repeatedly make in protecting their brands and trademarks in China. The presentation will use various examples to demonstrate why MNCs make costly mistakes that result in serious business losses. Many of these mistakes can be traced to the stubborn tendency of MNCs to underestimate the importance of issues of language and culture in doing business in China.
