Navigating Grief During the Holidays

The holiday season can heighten feelings of loss, loneliness, and emotional stress. Navigating Grief During the Holidays is a caring, supportive, and healing 1-hour session designed to help individuals process their grief in a safe and validating environment.

This free session acknowledges that grief shows up in many forms, including:

  1. The death of a loved one
  2. Pet loss, which can be just as profound and life-altering
  3. Estranged or complicated family relationships
  4. Non-death losses such as divorce, major life transitions, or loss of identity

What Participants Will Experience

  1. Guided reflection on how grief manifests during the holiday season
  2. Education about common emotional responses, triggers, and misconceptions around grief
  3. Tools for coping, including grounding practices and grief care plans
  4. Honouring rituals and small symbolic practices to remember loved ones or acknowledge complicated relationships
  5. Practical techniques for navigating gatherings, loneliness, holiday expectations, and traditions that may feel different this year

Who This Session Is For

Anyone who finds the holidays difficult due to:

  1. The death of a family member, friend, or beloved pet
  2. Longstanding or sudden estrangement from relatives
  3. Feeling disconnected or isolated during traditional celebrations
  4. Grieving while trying to maintain holiday expectations or support others
