Description

Please join us for a panel discussion with elected officials, policy makers, and veteran support organizations on the barriers to success for student veterans, as well as strategies for overcoming these barriers. We will also share a preview screening of the documentary, “Fail State”, which investigates the American higher education system and student loan debt.

This event is organized by the College Promise Campaign with the support of Young Invincibles and Veterans Education Success, and will feature:

  • Medal of Honor Recipient, Kyle White

  • Delegate Kathy Tran (VA-42)

  • Deputy Secretary Jaime Areizaga-Soto, Secretariat of Veterans and Defense Affairs Office of the Governor, Commonwealth of Virginia

  • Michelle Tremblay, U.S. Navy Veteran and University of Phoenix graduate

  • Lewis Runnion, Moderator, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Eleven 09, LLC., and long-time Veterans Philanthropy Leader
