In honor of Occupational Therapy month, the Northern Arizona University Department of Occupational Therapy (NAU OTD) and the Arizona Occupational Therapy Association (ArizOTA) are pleased to present a conversation with Jean K. Ehlers. Ms. Ehlers is one of the inaugural Occupational Therapists in Arizona. She was instrumental to the growth of the field in our state, opening many programs while serving as a past president of ArizOTA. In addition to the presentation by Ms. Ehlers, the event schedule includes time for networking and mingling with fellow members of the occupational therapy community.
This collaborative ArizOTA and & NAU OTD Celebration event is to be held on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018, at the beautiful NAU Phoenix Biomedical Campus in downtown Phoenix, 435 N. 5th Street, Phoenix, Arizona. Sign-in and networking are available beginning at 4:30 with Ms. Ehler's presentation beginning at 5:00. The event is scheduled to end by 6:00 pm.
Free parking is available on the northeast corner of Van Buren and 7th Street.
Attendance is limited to members of ArizOTA; NAU Occupational Therapy alumni and students; and guests specifically invited by NAU OTD or ArizOTA. ArizOTA is offering 1 CEU credit to its members.
Licensed Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assistants may purchase an ArizOTA membership at the door if not currently a member. Limit registration to one type of ticket. Reservations by persons not in one of the categories of ArizOTA member, NAU OT affiliates or ArizOTA and NAU special guests will be cancelled. Seating is very limited so don't delay in reserving your spot here.
