Come learn how trees and plants provide food for the animals of Duke Farms as they prepare for the coming winter. We will use some of the gifts that Nature has hidden among the leaves on the forest floor to create magical ornaments to decorate the evergreen in the Duke Farms Visitor Center. In addition, children will make “gifts for the birds” to take home so they may share nature’s gifts with wildlife where they live.
This program is designed for families with children in grades K through 5. At least one adult must accompany each child during this program. We cannot accommodate any children who are not currently in kindergarten. This includes younger siblings of any registered K through 5 participant as well as toddlers or babies in arms, carriers, slings, or strollers.
Accompanying adults are also required to register.
