Event description
Celebrate nature's role as a climate change solution with a full day of programming at the Central Park Zoo.

About this Event

To celebrate and endorse nature’s role as a climate solution and its intrinsic value providing a third of the climate solution by 2030, Nature4Climate will host four days of powerful programming at the Convene centre and Central Park Zoo from September 22nd to 25th. Nature’s Climate Hub is a collaborative venture with more than 150 submissions, from more than 50 organisations – and organised by a coalition of 20 partners. The Hub will be home to a series of lively ‘big idea’ talks showcasing the best of nature-based solutions; interactive sessions tackling the challenges we face – and opportunities to meet the experts; commitments from governments and companies and communities; sessions involving art, storytelling, film and music.

Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) is hosting Nature’s Climate Hub on September 25th at the Central Park Zoo, which will focus on how nature-based solutions for climate can also deliver for biodiversity and the Sustainable Development Goals. As this is also the final day of the Hub, the afternoon program will be a capstone on Nature-Based Solutions delivered at the Summit, showcasing ambitious climate commitments made by countries, private sector, civil society and indigenous organizations along with cross-cutting reflections by leaders and experts.

For a full event schedule, see www.nature4climate.org. Please note this event is for all programming from 9am-5pm at the Central Park Zoo. You only need to register once for this event in order to attend any and all of the scheduled events.
