NatureBridge | Olympic National Park

JULY 17-21, 2017



ADVENTURES IN SCIENCE; - A Summer Day Camp

  • Explore Olympic National Park
  • Hike and canoe
  • Design your own scientific investigation
  • Collect data and present your findings
  • Participate in group challenges and team building

If you are a current Clallam County 5, 6, or 7th grader who loves being outdoors investigating your National Park, this week-long summer day camp is for you! Students will present scientific findings to their families and NatureBridge friends on the last day.

NatureBridge will provide:
  • Trained NatureBridge educators to facilitate adventure and exploration
  • Lunch and snacks
  • Scientific tools
  • Rain and field gear (as needed)
  • NatureBridge hoodie upon program completion

Transporation:
Start / End time coordinated with PA/Forks Clallam Transit schedule; the first day of the program NatureBridge Staff will ride the bus with participants.
  • Morning:
    Forks Participants catch 7:30 a.m. bus at Forks Transit Center
    Port Angeles Participants catch 7:45 a.m. bus at Gateway Transit Center
  • Afternoon:
    Forks Participants catch 3:40 p.m. bus - return to Forks Transit Center at 4:30pm
    Port Angeles Participants catch 3:50 p.m. bus - return to Gateway Transit Center at 4:35pm
