Event description

Description

Event Mapping is a slow, meditative way of observation. With only a pencil or pen, and journal, you will document and draw through notes and simple drawings. The last part of class is spent with a field guide to expand on your notes. Add color at this time as well. Class one will start in Nancy's Studio for class overview, examples and tips. We'll meet the following five dates at Waterworks Hill, Rattlesnake, Pattee Canyon, Greenough Park, Toole Park. You will need to be able to walk short distances in hilly terrain. Maps, handouts, supply list provided after registration. No experience necessary.

Classes 10:00am -noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 20. (Bring a lunch and stay for Nature Journaling Missoula Open Spaces—skies, mountain ridges, trees, shrubs, plants from 1:00-3:00 pm—separate registration)
