Nature Immersion Community Walk

Come dilly dally in nature with us.
Our Nature Immersion Community walks are evidence-based 2-hour guided sessions out in Greenwood Reserve use Forest Therapy practices to help you unwind, tune into your senses, and reconnect with yourself and the world around you.
We need more nature to balance out the hectic hussle of our lives. This is a great option when you don’t have time to get away for the weekend but are still needing the benefits of nature.
Whether you're a nature enthusiast or just looking to unwind, these walks are for everyone. These sessions are an opportunity to slow down, connect with community and have a little fun.
The purpose of these sessions is to show that everyone can enjoy nature even if you arn't into hiking or camping. You just have to find your own way to connect and these session will guide you in your own exploration.
With the addition of the positive benefits of being out in the forest people who have done sessions like this:

- Reduced stress and anxiety
- Improved mood and energy levels
- Improved mental clarity
- Increases the production and activity of natural killer cells
This is accessible to all age groups and abilities.

What to bring:
- Covered shous eg: runners, walking shoes
- Water bottle
- Clothing appropriate to the weather conditions
- Wear sunscreen
- Bring snacks if you need
Note that the walk will be cancelled if the weather conditions are deemed to be too dangerous however if there is light rain these session bring something special so please dont be afriad if there is a little rain on the day.
