Laundry is piling up, the baby has a fever, and the deadlines of reports requested by your boss loom. Tonnes of works are strangling you tightly and there is so much noise happening in your brain which might lead it to explosion anytime. You can do nothing but just feel helpless, weeping quietly at a corner. Sounds familiar?

Yes, you might be experiencing a very common emotional state most commonly identified as anxiety.

No one managing his or her own life is devoid of stress. The scary part of stress is too much of it can lead to excessive worry, nervousness, dread, upset stomach, difficulty breathing, racing heart and many other health problems.

In fact, anxiety is among the most common mental health issues nowadays. The Singapore Mental Health Survey (2010) found that about 100,000 Singapore residents (aged 18 and above) had anxiety disorders at some point in their lives. Paradoxically, it took an average of 6 to 9 years for persons with anxiety disorders to seek help from the onset of illness!

There is nothing to be ashamed of having an anxiety disorder. Accepting that you are feeling anxious, be encouraged to open up to more people and seek for help, because you are not alone.

This workshop aims to provide:

1. A basic understanding of anxiety;

2. What to do if you or someone you love is suffering anxiety disorder;

3. Introduction of safe and natural remedies for anxiety and stress.

  • Anyone who is overwhelmed in his or her daily life and wants to discover a more holistic approach for stress and anxiety relief
  • Working or stay-at-home mummies who seek ways to better deal with the little ones temper tantrums while juggling daily tasks and family
  • Anyone whose friends and family are finding hard in dealing with stress and anxiety in life

  • Mind-body practice including simple breathing method coupled with therapeutic essential oils which are natural plant essence

  • DIY session to make customized essential oil blend roller based on the recipe given (each participant is entitled one roll-on bottle)


(1) While the workshop is free, a small fee of SGD 10 dollars will be charged for materials (educational materials, glass bottles, essential oils, etc.) if you choose to stay back for the DIY session.
