Event description

Description

So now that you have a great native landscape how do you keep it looking nice? How is native landscape maintenance different from other gardening? Learn about all of the do's and don’ts for maintaining your native garden. Topics covered include: How will the landscape change over time? When to cut back dead heads? Which plants can get an early trim to grow shorter? We’ll also discuss how easier maintenance begins with good design. Presented in partnership with GrowNative! and the Missouri Department of Conservation

Speakers:

William Roth Gibson | Owner, Down to Earth Services & Green Thumb Gardens

Paula Diaz | GardeNerd Consultations

All proceeds support KCNPI's mission to promote more native landscapes in the Kansas City region. However, we never want cost to be a barrier, so scholarships are available. Email kcnpi (at) kcnpi.org to inquire.

Photographs and video may be taken. Registration and attendance constitutes an agreement by the registrant to KCNPI's use and distribution—both now and in the future—of the attendee’s image, videotapes, and electronic reproductions.
