Description

Michigan’s Thumb region is rich in Native American History. This presentation covers both ancient and modern times of Native Americans from the Paleo Indian era to the coming of the Anishanabe. It includes the 1600’s with the arrival of French Traders and Missionaries, along with the Petroglyphs in Sanilac County. The presenters toured many Native American village sites, burial grounds and mission locations with their cameras.
