Event description

Description

On Thursday, October 12, 2017, 40 NFTE alumni from across the US who won their spring regional business plan competitions will compete in the twelfth annual NFTE National Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge in New York City, presented by the Citi Foundation.

The Challenge is one of NFTE’s signature events and our most high-profile business plan competition of the year. It culminates with the top 3 finalists competing in front of an invited audience and VIP judge panel, for prizes totaling $20,000!

The evening will include a cocktail reception and youth entrepreneur showcase at which guests will be able to meet, learn about, and in some cases purchase products from our student finalist businesses.

Our VIP Judges will include:
Paul Appelbaum, Co-Founder, GrubHub Seamless, Early Stage Investor and Advisor
Jason Feifer, Editor-in-Chief, Entrepreneur Magazine
Courtney Hall, Managing Director, Hillcrest Venture Partners
Angela Ivana, Founder, CosmoSafe and NFTE class of 2006

and our Master of Ceremonies is Lauren Maillian, Speaker and Best-Selling Author.
