Event description

Description

Join the Los Angeles Family AIDS Network on March 10, 2020 to honor Women and Girls HIV Awareness Day. The CDC has released data highlighting the gap in care of women living with HIV stating only 89% of women living with HIV received their HIV diagnosis, 66% received HIV primary care, 51% were retained in care and 53% were reported to be virally suppressed. These statistics bring light to the gap in medical care that currently exists for women living with HIV across the county. We hope you will join us on March 10th to not only have a conversation about the HIV work being done in Los Angeles County to ensure we close the gap in HIV care for women living with HIV and to enjoy the self-care activities offered throughout the event.
