Join us for a transformational event, sponsored by National University’s, COLS (College of Letters and Sciences) Center for Cultural and Ethnic Studies.
We are living in turbulent times in which everywhere human solidarity is under immense pressure. This event is prompted by the recent rise in divisiveness and intolerance and will address the fear-based attitudes, myths and phobic responses experienced by many minorities. The day will consist of a panel of speakers, high school students’ creative expressive arts, and experiential process groups. Each speaker will share what he or she has learned from their own painful experiences and how they were able to transcend them. The goal of this event is to challenge our beliefs, biases and stereotypes while empowering one another with the hope of becoming agents of change.
