Description

Join the Southern California Mountains Foundation, Bear Valley Trails Foundation, and the San Bernardino National Forest for National Trails Day 2018!

Volunteers are needed to help with trail maintenance along the north shore of Big Bear Lake. All ages welcome; parents/guardians responsible for youth under 18.

Check-in will start at 8:30pm at the Big Bear Discovery Center and trail work will begin at 9:00am. All volunteers participating in National Trails Day will receive picnic lunch provided by our sponsors.

How to prepare:

Please wear long pants, closed toed shoes, bring reusable water bottle and gloves if you have them. All tools and instruction will be provided; no experience necessary.

Check In:
Check-in at the Big Bear Discovery Center @ 8:30am, located at 40971 North Shore Drive/Hwy 38, CA 92333. Work party will be from 9am - 12pm; with lunch to follow!

Event is limited to 100 volunteers, pre-registration required. National Trails Day partners include Southern California Mountains Foundation, Bear Valley Trails Foundation, and the San Bernardino National Forest.
