Description

Free Training for All Emergency Responders !

The Carroll County Volunteer Emergency Services Association, in partnership with the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) CHART, is proud to present the National Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Responder Training: A new, coordinated multi-disciplinary training program, developed through a Federal Highway Administration program (Second Strategic Highway Research Program, or SHRP 2) is being offered for all emergency responders and those supporting Traffic Incident Management operations - police, firefighters, state and local departments of transportation, towing, medical personnel, and other incident responders.

The purpose is to promote a shared understanding of the requirements for achieving the safety of responders and motorists, quick response, and effective communications at traffic incident scenes, leading to a safer, faster, integrated responder team and reduce secondary crashes thus surviving one of the most dangerous situations you respond to.

Each attendee must register separately. No group registration.

Please cancel if unable to attend.

Lead Instructor: Patrick Rooney, Training & Certification Manager, Maryland Department of Transportation, State Highway Administration, CHART and ITS Development
