Description

Free Training for All Emergency Responders !

The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) CHART, is proud to present the National Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Responder Training: The coordinated multi-disciplinary training program, developed through a Federal Highway Administration program (Second Strategic Highway Research Program, or SHRP 2) is being offered for all emergency responders and those supporting Traffic Incident Management operations - police, firefighters, state and local departments of transportation, towing, emergency management, and other incident responders.

The purpose is to promote a shared understanding of the requirements for achieving the safety of responders and motorists, quick response, and effective communications at traffic incident scenes, leading to a safer, faster, integrated responder team and reduce secondary crashes thus surviving one of the most dangerous situations you respond to.

This class is the 4 hour, awareness level classroom session.

Each attendee must register separately. No group registration. Certificates are printed according to the registration roster, so enter the attendee's name correctly.

Please cancel if unable to attend.
