Registration required. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided.

This training will benefit school administrators, educational data specialists, school counselors, and county network team members.

BREAKFAST 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM

MORNING SESSION: GENERAL OVERVIEW OF NATIONAL STUDENT CLEARINGHOUSE

Attendees will:
• Gain an understanding of the services of National Student Clearinghouse
• Learn about NSC participating colleges and universities
• Find out about NSC data gathering and NSC report structure
• Learn how to read high school reports and their possible uses to improve college readiness and going rates

LUNCH 12:30-1:30

AFTERNOON SESSION: RACE TO RIGOR

Attendees will:
• Learn about Race to Rigor, an intentional effort to increase students’ access and success in rigorous coursework including UC/CSU A-G completion, Advanced Placement(AP), Dual Enrollment (DE)
• Discover how to use Race to Rigor to ensure preparation and academic success in college
• Understand how this program will help with counseling support for elementary, middle and high school.
