Join us as Queens Library celebrates National Library Week with our Book Banquets. Each author's work reflects the diverse, active literary life of our city. Ashley Woodfolk, author of exciting debut YA novel The Beauty That Remains, will give an author talk, followed by a Q&A session and book signing. Plus, enjoy a meal with the author!

Ashley Woodfolk’s debut novel, The Beauty That Remains (Random House), has been on sale since March 6, 2018. Told from three diverse points of view, this story of life and love after loss is one Angie Thomas, author of The Hate U Give, calls a "stunning, heart-wrenching look at grief that will stay with you long after you put it down." It has made Barnes & Noble’s list of 21 Most Anticipated Debuts of 2018 and Brightly’s list of 18 of the Most Exciting YA Books to Read in 2018.




Tickets Purchase Policy

Queens Library programs are a free to the public. In order to make the programs available to the most number of people we are limiting general admission tickets to 2 per individual. Multiple orders per individual are not allowed and will be cancelled. This policy ensures that no-shows are reduced and tickets are available to the most number of people.
