Join us for the 3rd National Kids Yoga Conference on the weekend of September 30th - October 2nd, in Washington, DC. This incredible conference is a unique opportunity for the kids yoga and mindfulness community—educators, mental health professionals, yoga teachers, researchers, therapists, and parents—to come together in a professional forum.
Throughout the weekend we will learn about the research, techniques, and best practices needed to thoughfully lead the movement to bring yoga and mindfulness to children and youth across the country. You will leave the conference energized with a clear vision of your next steps to successfully bring yoga and mindfulness to the kids in your community.
Hosted by YoKid, the 3rd National Kids Yoga Conference will feature more than 50 presenters from organizations and institutions that have been at the forefront of kids yoga. Learn about innovative approaches, pioneering research and explore a wealth of new tools to support your vision of this work in your community.
Who Should Attend?
The National Kids Yoga Conference is a collective gathering for yoga teachers, educators, school administrators, studio owners, mental health professionals, parents, and anyone interested in bringing yoga to our next generation. We will also have a special track just for Teens, ages 13-17.
What Can You Expect?
The National Kids Yoga Conference features a balanced weekend of keynote speakers, panel discussions, workshops, networking, and yoga practice. The breakout sessions will follow five different tracks for adults and one specialty track for teens only with all tracks focused on different aspects of yoga for youth:
- Business of Yoga
- School Yoga
- Yoga Tools
- Yoga Research
- Master Class
- Teen Yoga (must be 13-17 years old to participate)
New this year, some of your favorite kids yoga teachers will be leading Master Classes for you to attend! These sessions will include a 30 minute "mock" kids yoga classes followed by 30 minutes of Q&A. Additionally, we have added 3-hour intensive workshops on Sunday afternoon for you to choose from.
Upon registering, you have the freedom to cross tracks and select the breakout sessions that interest to you. Explore our interactive schedule to view session descriptions.
We will have a number of sponsors and exhibitors for you to meet and connect with. Be sure to allow time for exploring their products, books, and ideas in the conference marketplace, as well as networking with conference presenters and attendees.
What is the conference schedule?
Friday September 30th: Kick off the conference weekend by networking with kids yoga leaders and fellow conference attendees at our kick-off event. A special keynote guest will be speaking and the 2nd National Kids Yoga Service Award will be presented. We have lots of fun planned...dinner, henna and massages just to name a few!
Saturday October 1st: Full day of keynote and breakout sessions, followed by an evening yoga class and presentation of "Fly By Light", the movie.

Step #2 On the conference website or this Eventbrite page, select the type and number of tickets you would like to purchase.
Step #3 Complete the registration page and be sure to include your workshop choice for each breakout session. Done! You will receive an email confirmation. Save paper and the hassle of printing a ticket and download the Eventbrite app to your smartphone. Your ticket will be with you at all times (so long as you have your phone!)
Pricing Schedule for Conference Registration?
- Early Bird Registration thru June 30th: $390 (full weekend ticket)
- Regular Rate Registration thru August 30th: $420 (full weekend ticket)
- Late Rate Registration thru September 20th: $490 (full weekend ticket)

What is included with my ticket?
The full weekend ticket includes full access to the conference keynote and breakout sessions (Saturday and Sunday), the Friday networking banquet and Sunday post-conference intensive workshops.
Individual day pass tickets include all events that occur on that specific day (e.g. the Friday ticket includes the networking event; Saturday ticket includes evening yoga class and movie showing.)
Is My Ticket Refundable?
All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued for any reason after September 1, 2016.
Additionally, each breakout session is dependent on attendee registration and we will adjust sessions as needed based on attendance.
Are CEUs Available?
