EVENT AGENDA

FRIDAY 6:00pm

ATTIRE: Casual

CHECK-IN: Registered participants will be checked in by League personnel upon arrival at the event. Assigned tryout shirts/jerseys to be issued. Payment will not be accepted at the door.

SYMPOSIUM: Players will have an opportunity to meet and hear from League Officials regarding the status of the league, player expectations, league objectives, and more.

ON FIELD WALK-THROUGH: Players will receive a briefing on the official rules of play and get a chance to familiarize themselves with the field parameters.

DINNER TO BE SERVED

SATURDAY 8:00am

ATTIRE: Athletic performance gear, including League issued tryout shirt, and appropriate football cleats.

PHOTO: Athletes will have their official league head-shot taken.

HEIGHT & WEIGHT: Official height and weight measured and recorded.

FOOTBALL COMBINE TESTING: After a proper, supervised “dynamic warm-up,” participants will have the option to test in the 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle, vertical jump and kneeling power ball toss. NGL staff will then work participants through specific drills designed to improve athletic ability, speed and explosiveness.

POSITION SPECIFIC DRILLS & TRAINING: Participants are separated into position groups (QB, RB, WR, OL, DL, LB and DB) to work individually on football skills and techniques with league position coaches with college and NFL experience. Here, athletes have the opportunity to tap into the secrets of proper workouts that have helped players make it to the NFL, including cone and ladder drills. This period educates participants on how to improve football-specific speed, agility and quickness movements, and also how to train specifically for the needs and requirements of their individual positions.

ONE-ON-ONES: Players will have the opportunity to match-up and show what they've got!

7-ON-7 (5-ON-5): Offensive players get the chance to work on the passing game while defensive players simultaneously work on pass coverage skills. During this period linemen and running backs will work on running game essentials.
