Event Details

On June 22, 2007 the U.S. Senate passed a resolution to forever mark January 11th as a day of awareness and vigilance for the countless victims of human trafficking across the globe.

BTFF is excited to host a 2-day awareness event in honor of National Global Human Trafficking Awareness Day (NGHTAD). The theme of this event is Discover, Witness & Act.

Discover and Witness the facts about human trafficking at our Panel Discussion and Film Screening
Friday, Jan 10th at the George Washington University Law School
10am-4pm: Tina Frundt, Barbara Amaya, Cassandra Clifford, Evelyn Chumbow and more expert panelist and survivors to be announced.

Act to end human trafficking and empower survivors to lead thriving lives at our Gala
Saturday, Jan 11th at the Washington SunTrust Headquarters

7-10pm: Enjoy hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, dancing and a lavish silent auction.

We hope you can join us for one or both of these events.  All proceeds will go directly to BTFF to increase our capacity to provide Personal Development, Professional Development and College Prep & Job Reediness Programs to ensure that survivors are able to lead the thriving lives they choose.
