Event description

Description

National Freedom Day celebrates the journey from Africa, through slavery to freedom. Today, the opportunities and success seen throughout our community rests firmly upon the ongoing sacrifice of our Armed Service Member.

The 25th Anniversary of the Martin Luther King Jr. Library Literacy Group shared the legacy of Lt. Col. Charles M. Bussey, USA (Ret.) and his book Firefight at Yechon, Courage and Racism in the Korea War.

Join us to celebrate Freedom and share the living legacy or our Armed Service Members who continue to positively impact our community.
