National Estate Churches Network (NECN) Annual Conference 2016 London
Event Information
Description
PRACTICAL SPIRITUALITY – Transforming Lives and Communities
This year’s conference will help us sense again our call to estate ministry and life, by looking at our Christian Spirituality as it impacts our distinctive ministry. The day will be led by Dr. Gillian Ahlgren, a leading speaker on Spirituality and Social Justice from Cincinnati, USA, and by Andy Delmege, Convenor of our Birmingham Group.
The Conference will offer the chance for us to visit again the joy of estate church life as well as its important challenges. It will help us to refresh our connections with the traditions of Christian Spirituality and look at how they assist us in making a practical difference in loving our estates and communities.
The day will be practical, with the sharing of a lot of wisdom in the room as we seek to unlock and share our stories and experiences. There will be fresh insights and lots of new ideas to try.
Come and enjoy a day of networking, friendship and inspiration!
As always, this conference is for all who belong to estate churches, lay people as well as ministers, all denominations and those who work in other Christian groupings. We keep the cost down to a minimum (please note lunch and hot drinks are included) and offer the same one day programme in two venues – one north and one south – to ease your travel expense.
Come along, bring others and meet friends old and new!
