Designed for those with responsibilities for aiding the equity and justice initiatives in their schools, the 3-day program will provide a framework for engaging in best practices, will give members an opportunity to plan their diversity efforts at their school with support from institute faculty throughout the year with a formal mentoring program, and will promote networking and resource sharing among members.
This conference is not meant solely for diversity directors. NDPI is for anyone with responsibilities for aiding the building and sustaining of a diverse school community. Last year, we had among our group diversity directors, deans, admissions directors, teachers, curriculum coordinators, division heads, and assistant heads of school.
The insitute runs from 9am-9pm on June 26-28, 2017. Participants are expected at all sessions. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the registration fee.
We are hosted by The Center for Transformative Teaching and Learning at St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Potomac, MD. (www.thecttl.org)
