Event description
Bringing SF residents together to learn, connect, and build towards solutions for housing

About this Event

Everyone agrees: San Francisco has a housing problem that affects us all. So what are we going to do about it?

On September 21, this year’s National Day of Civic Hacking will bring together a set of speakers/panelists with diverse perspectives on the drivers of our current housing crisis, followed by a day of action where friends and neighbors will collaborate to start building towards solutions. Join fellow Bay Area residents to learn about what's contributing to our housing situation today from a variety of angles: cultural, economic, political, and personal.

After you listen and get inspired by the panelists, you'll break out into groups to begin laying the groundwork for projects that live on even after the event is over. We welcome all residents to participate, regardless of background, identity, skills, or interests - because our housing problem affects everyone, and it can’t be solved without everyone’s help.
