The Nebraska Business Development Center and UNeMed - University of Nebraska Medical Center Technology Transfer Office present a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) talk. Learn about funding opportunities for early-stage ventures from the National Cancer Institute. The session will cover current and upcoming changes to the SBIR & STTR programs, practical strategies for developing successful proposals, and other NCI resources offered to accelerate drug development and commercialization.
This presentation will be given by Dr. Patricia Weber, SBIR Program Director - National Cancer Institute (NCI) at the National Institute of Health (NIH). All faculty / staff / innovators/entrepreneurs who are interested in the NCI - SBIR/STTR grant funding opportunities are invited to attend.

NBDC technology commercialization team assists companies, investors, scientists, university researchers and entrepreneurs that have the potential to bring innovative technologies to the commercial marketplace. Consultants provide services including market research, startup advice, business planning, stakeholder engagement, and funding guidance. Special emphasis will be on providing assistance with the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR/STTR) grant program.
