National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity (NACIQI)

The National Advisory Committee on Institutional Quality and Integrity or NACIQI was authorized and reconstituted by the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008. NACIQI provides recommendations regarding accrediting agencies that monitor the academic quality of postsecondary institutions and educational programs for federal purposes. Applications for Renewal of Recognition for the February 28 – March 2, 2023, meeting include the (1) Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc.; (2) Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education; (3) American Physical Therapy Association; (4) Higher Learning Commission; (5) Middle States Commission on Higher Learning; (6) New England Commission of Higher Education; and (7) Western Association of Schools and Colleges, Senior College and University Commission. Compliance Report submissions for the February 28 – March 2, 2023, meeting include the (1) New York State Board Regents, State Education Department, Office of the Professions (Nursing Education); and (2) Maryland Board of Nursing.
