Natalia Zukerman: Songwriting with a Painter's Eye
Sunday, October 29 at 2:00 pm
How do you paint a scene so that the listener can not only feel, but SEE what the singer is talking about? How do we write about the current state of our world while still widening our lens and allowing for possibility and hope? In this workshop, we'll create image-based songs that show rather than tell a story. No songwriting experience is necessary.
Natalia Zukerman is an artist, songwriter and performer raised in Manhattan. She is the daughter of violinist/conductor Pinchas Zukerman and flutist/writer Eugenia Zukerman, and the sister of opera singer and TRS member Arianna Zukerman. Natalia's music is a cross-genre blend of blues, jazz, bluegrass and folk. Often she tells stories or relates personal observations about life and relationships.
