Event description

Description

NASA's Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP), in collaboration with Office of Education (OE), the Space Technology Mission Directorate (STMD) and the Science Mission Directorate (SMD), will be hosting the NASA HBCU/MI Technology Infusion Road Tour. Together, these four offices will provide an open platform for HBCU and MI representatives to learn about NASA's Mentor-Protégé Program (MPP), OE's grant and cooperative agreement opportunities, STMD's Small Business Innovative Research/Small Business Technical Transfer (SBIR/STTR) opportunities, as well as SMD's science research opportunities, grants, fellowships and contracts.

By participating in presentations and workshops with various technical and business representatives from NASA and large primes, attendees will learn program fundamentals and ways to pursue procurement and technical opportunities. Guest speakers will also include past and present MPP and SBIR/STTR participants to discuss lessons learned and their success stories.

Event Attire: The typical business attire in Hawai`i is a business casual/aloha attire for business functions. This would be most appropriate for this event, especially in August as it will be warm. (However, this is your call to recommend what is best suited for the event).
