ABOUT NASA SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAMS
In support of small businesses, the White House has requested that all Federal agencies focus outreach efforts in small business socioeconomic categories where agency goal performance is low. To meet this request, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), as part of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2016-17 NASA Small Business Improvement Plan, instituted an initiative focused on increasing outreach in the following low performing socioeconomic areas: Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Women-Owned, and Historically Underutilized Business Zone concerns.
