Overview
What is the importance of NARCAN training?
On Wednesday, November 19, at 12:00 PM CT, the Herzing University Brookfield campus will host a Layperson Naloxone (NARCAN) training session. Project WisHope will offer NARCAN training to all interested students, staff, teachers and the community. During this training session, you will learn how to:
- Recognize the signs of an opioid overdose
- Acquire knowledge of how to administer the opioid overdose reversal drug Naloxone
- Understand the role of harm reduction in the overall opioid public health crisis solutions/action plan/strategy.
After the session, all attendees who attended will get a NARCAN kit to take home with them. Register your spot today! This event is capped at 35 attendees.
