NANBPWC of Ann Arbor Club - The 36th Annual MLK Ho
Event Information
About this Event
The Ann Arbor Club of the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, Inc. is extremely pleased to announce its 36th Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Ball. This annual event is our signature fundraising activity to allow us the opportunity to provide scholarships to the youth in Washtenaw County community. The event salutes Dr. King’s memory and celebrates his legacy.
The Ann Arbor Club was organized in 1976 to promote the interests of business and professional women, to serve as advisors and models for young people interested in business and/or the professions, and to sponsor and support a vast array of programs and services designed to improve the quality of life in our local and global communities.
Over the years, your generous support, involvement and contributions have helped us to provide over 175 scholarships to deserving high school students and to establish an endowment at Washtenaw Community College for beginning students, returning students, and adult learners. The Ann Arbor Club works collaboratively with other community organizations to enhance educational opportunities, impacts physical development and health initiatives, and fosters good fellowship to continue to explore and support our efforts to make a difference.
The January 18th Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Ball Souvenir Book will provide a wonderful way for you to advertise your business, organization, corporation or personal support to a diverse audience. We are a 501c(3) tax-exempt organization and we rely on your contributions to help support our service projects.
This year's keynote speaker will be radio personality from 105.9 KISS-FM & Detroit Pistons announcer, John "Mason" Mason. We invite you to save this date and to join us celebrating the Dream of Dr. King.
