About this Event

The rise in opioid misuse has been a growing concern across the United States. The purpose of this event is to bring awareness to the issue and shed light on its impact in the town of Waterbury and the state of Connecticut as a whole. We will also talk about how to respond to an overdose and administer naloxone. This event is led by an AmeriCorps Member currently serving at WYS with Prevention Corps. This training is open to the public and is for anyone who is interested in learning more about the topic.

Walk-ins are welcome, but space is limited. RSVP's are given priority for seats; seating is on a first come basis for walk-ins.
