The goal of this conference is address hot issues facing Filipino-Americans in our community, our city, our nation, and our world, and provide tangible tools to empower us to make changes that will increase our knowledge, civic engagement, collaborative strength, and unity.
To UNIFY – Bring the Filipino-American community together (intergenerational) and share experiences and expertise regarding issues pertaining to our community. We will connect individuals and associations together and have a fresh perspective of their community's progress towards civic engagement and empowerment.
To EDUCATE – Provide a premier platform for Filipino-American social justice experts to present and discuss concerns, challenges encountered and solutions. We will strengthen collaboration with agencies and institutions to achieve the mission of the National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA) in Region 10.
TO ACTIVATE – A Call to Action. We will walk away with tangible takeaways of how to make the changes within ourselves, our communities, and hold our elected officials accountable.
