Event description
For many witches, both traditional and eclectic, mythos forms the lens through which we understand our craft.

About this Event

These stories give context to ritual, and put us intimately in touch with the primordial archetypes that are woven through our work.

We can understand these stories as poetic metaphors, maybe even the imprint of ancient stories or rites, but in either case, a critical understanding of the technology of storytelling is a useful tool in the hands of the witch. Armed with this power to see through and even below a narrative, practitioners of any craft can learn to dissect these stories so they can explore, embody, and and venerate these stories in powerful ways.

This lecture will use the power of narrative to explore the technology of myth, the witches of classical storytelling, and how we might use these tools in our own practice.
