Overview

Discover how the timeless stories of yoga’s mythological figures can offer insight, inspiration, and depth to your personal practice.

In this 2-hour workshop, we’ll explore the archetypal energy of four powerful Hindu deities: Durga, Kali, Dhumavati, and Lakshmi.

You’ll learn how these stories live not only in history, but in our bodies and daily lives and how to embody their themes through various practices.

What’s Included:

  • Brief teachings on each archetype and its symbolism
  • Breathwork and Visualization
  • Journal prompts and small-group reflection
  • A themed asana flow that ties the archetypes together

The asana component will be mostly "all levels" with moments of advanced postures (modifications available)

About the instructor:

Steph studied Yoga and Ayurveda in Northern India, completed a year-long training in nervous system regulation, and continues to integrate these modalities into her teachings. She also facilitates monthly women’s circles, holding space for community, reflection, and ritual.
