Must be 21 or older.
Price includes two drinks. The Happy Hour History tour begins on the south end of the Mobile Convention Center (right next to "Riverside Ice" skating rink, at the end of Government Street, across from the Marriot Renaissance Hotel). Free parking is provided.
Guided walking tours last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. In case of inclement weather, an indoor route will be provided with views of each site.
The tour begins with a stroll along the Mobile River at the end of Cooper Riverside Park. Cross Water Street and stop at Fathoms Lounge for refreshments. Next, take a walk around the corner and down the street where the first mystic parades once marched, passing the locations where their first balls were held and tableaux performed.
Stop again at the Royal Street Tavern in the Battle House Hotel for more refreshments. Take your drink upstairs for a view of other sites or cross Royal Street to Bienville Square. Your final stop will bring you just a block away from where you parked... stay to enjoy more of your Happy Hour or slip away mysteriously.
To keep the tour relaxing, informative and interactive, the number of participants is limited. Reserve a spot early or schedule a private tour for any group of 5 or more. To schedule a private tour for your group of 5 or more, send an email to: email@example.com with number of adults, children and requested date and time.
*** Reservations and cancellations are both required at least 2 hours in advance.
