About this event
Come join us for an amazing obstacle course experience like no other. The Myrtle Beast Terrain Race! You can actually view the entire 3 mile course from the start to finish. Imagine four football fields covered in mud with a giant dirt mountain in the center, and 30 lanes each a tenth a mile long, with military style obstacles and rugged physical challenges.
Speakers will be set up with intense motivating workout music blasting throughout the entire course. The sounds of war and smoke grenades will provide a completely immersive military type of experience. It's like a Marine Corps Obstacle course on steroids.
Competing male racers will kick it off at 8am, followed by competing female racers at 8:30am. The following heats will run every 30 minutes.
There will be many other fun physical challenges like the tire flip competition. timed ammo-can press, medicine ball throwing, pull-up competition, and teams of 6 tug-a-war. Plenty of food and tons of awesome vendors will be on site for you to enjoy.
Fruit and water will be staged throughout the course for all of the racers provided by The Famous Toastery. All racers get a Myrtle Beast shirt and a swag bag with goodies donated from local businesses, including a voucher for one visit to the Beast Ninja obstacle course located in Myrtle Beach. Cash prizes and medals will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. 1st place $150, 2nd place $100, 3rd place $75.
