Description

WHY?

Supporting student success by connecting faculty, staff, and students to each other, The MyOHIO Success Network allows you to easily make online appointments with your students and/or advisees (integrates with your Catmail/Outlook calendar), quickly identify and outreach to students who are struggling, connect students to campus student support resources, and provide student feedback on their academic progress (the old Academic Alerts and eProgress Survey). MyOHIO Success Network also provides a venue for students to receive real-time feedback with the just-in-time information they need to remediate the situation, improve their success, and access the services that can help.

WHO?

MyOHIO Success Network training is for all faculty and staff who have advising responsibilities. Classroom instructors and staff who work with students in a support role are also welcome to attend and are likely to benefit from understanding how to use MyOHIO Success Network to make it easier to contact and work with their students.

WHAT?

Training attendees will be able to:

  • · Provide access to students to use the online scheduling system to make appointments.
  • · Raise a flag indicating they have a concern about a student they would like someone to address.
  • · Resolve a concern that someone else in the student’s network has raised.
  • · Provide kudos for a student who is doing a good job or improving.
  • · See who else is in the student’s network who could assist the student.

Please note: We will be meeting in a computer lab but you are welcome to bring your own technology!
