Description

Set within the exhibition Civic Leader and Art Collector: Sallie Casey Thayer and an Art Museum for KU, this free, experimental, immersive musical theater experience tells the story of the founding gift of art to the University of Kansas that became the Spencer Museum of Art. Created by Spencer Archivist Robert Hickerson, My Name is Sallie is part of the centennial celebration of the Museum's collection.

Two nights only: Wednesday, October 25th and Thursday, October 26th.

Will tickets be available at the door?

No, advance tickets are required to help us plan properly. Please secure your tickets now.

What time will doors open?

Doors open at 6:30PM.

What are my parking options?

Free street parking is available along Mississippi Street and in lot 91 directly behind the Spencer Museum of Art. Additional parking is available in the Mississippi Street Garage at an hourly rate. Limited free accessibile parking is available along the perimeter of the Museum. Call the Museum at 785.864.4710 for details. Additional accessible parking is available in the Mississippi Street Garage at an hourly rate.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You must present your printed or electronic ticket at the door.

How long is the performance?

The performance runs approximately 50 minutes. No intermission. Late entry cannot be accommodated.

Can I reserve seats?

Seating is available for all ticketholders. Seats are not assigned. Please refrain from saving seats. To request a seating accommodation, please contact the Museum at 785.864.4710.
