Event description

Description

My Mother's Recipe is the signature bi-annual potluck of The CareGivers' Project for anyone with an interest in cargiving for elders. We are joined by elders including fathers and sons, their families, professional caregivers, children, past caregivers and business who support caregivers.

The purpose of My Mother's Recipe is to celebrate the bond between caregiver and elder care receiver through sharing of a home-cooked dish and recipe which has been handed down from an earlier generation with other care-pairs in their community. It is a fun event which allows fours generation to mingle, share stories and network with each other.

Expect a multi-cultural lunch experience and the oportunity to share caregiving stories with others. Many great connections are made.

Bring a homecooked dish to share which will feed 8-10 people.
