What sets your photographs apart from all the others is what finding your visual voice is all about.

The evolution of photography is paralleled and illustrated in this evocative program by Long Island artist, resident, and educator Holly Gordon; who has traveled the world…yet is continually daunted by the visual bounty of her home turf…the Long Island landscape.

This presentation has been designed especially for Long Island Photo Gallery and provides insight into the expansive possibilities of the personal relationship between camera and EYE and boundless inspiration from Long Island.

The creative journey between these two works, before and beyond, will be explored, shared and discussed during this presentation.

While technology has made it easy and successful for everyone to take pictures today…it has created a plethora of sameness.

What sets your photographs apart from all the others is what finding your visual voice is all about. Join us Saturday, May 6, 2017 and discover the path to your visual voice!

Your participation in the "My Long EYEland - Finding Your Visual Voice" event includes:

EDUCATIONAL slideshow and talk titled "My Long EYEland"
Q & A discussion with Holly Gordon, LIPG Curators and fellow attendees

INSPIRATION & new potential for your visual voice
